Erin, your calm instruction is such a blessing along with your knowledge and expertise of the practice makes your class flow the best I’ve ever had at reaching goals and added stress relief also… Your class introduced me to yoga and I definitely enjoyed it but it wasn’t the same when you left Tubac so I dropped out. I’ve tried different yoga / pilates classes here with differing results, mainly due to the instructors. You and your class introduced me to a different path to fitness and I’m SO appreciative. YOU ARE THE BEST!!! I hope everything going great for you and your family. Many blessings to you!!! Your Mississippi friend, Clark McMinn
I stick to Pilates because I love it!!! Why do I love it, well for one, stronger core, better bala,ce brain gymnastics… but, going back to something you said to me when I first started… I was missing flow…. and Pilates gives me that. Besides feeling great, (my joint pain and injuries are almost non-existent), Pilates gives me flow, that feeling of being in the moment, enjoying the activity, connecting my mind and body and feeling my muscles get stronger, longer and leaner. 😊

“Benefits I’ve noticed: overall strength and flexibility, movement of joints, and sense of community with the classes!”
My most recent Reformer session worked out the ache in my right shoulder that I just couldn’t resolve on my own – what a difference to have that mobility back! I still have bad days with my hip arthritis, but now I’m able to get in and out of vehicles without the pain I’ve tried to manage these last 2 years. Regular sessions on the Reformer are absolutely making a difference in my daily life. Thank you, Erin!

I have been taking Erin’s classes for over two years. I had given up yoga due to joint pain and was anxious about how much strength I had lost. I began with one gentle yoga class. Then with Erin’s thoughtful direction and support I’ve kept adding classes. Now I have added Pilates, Yogalates and Reformer classes. I feel more focused and centered. I have improved breathing, core strength and balance. Erin’s classes are fun. She is a skilled practitioner, gives concise directions and demonstrates new poses as she incorporates them into her classes. Somehow Erin gauges the needs of each individual and gently pushes us when needed with both support and humor. I truly enjoy being a part of the community Erin has created in Westford and look forward each class.

The Yoga for Back Health class held by Erin Menut has really helped me out with my lower back and sleeping. She adapts the classes and checks in frequently with the class. I love that she gives handouts so we can continue with the practice and I find myself doing the stretches whenever I’m feeling sore and tense. I would definitely recommend it for anyone with back trouble. My only recommendation is to continue to have the class.
Thanks! – Helen Sterling, Westford, VT
Erin is making a positive impact on many people (some younger, some older) in the Westford community. She is a dedicated and knowledgeable teacher – and fun. If you become a Yogalates student, be prepared to laugh when the going gets tough! And know that when you leave her class your step will be lighter.

I have been practicing yoga with Erin for the past 18 months. Erin is talented at describing each pose while demonstrating it and providing information about what parts of the body the pose is focused on. She suggests how to make the pose more challenging if desired, as well as less challenging if needed. Erin’s passion for yoga, fitness, and mindfulness is evident in each class. She makes each class fun, challenging and relaxing. Since joining Erin’s practice, I have noticed an increase in my strength, my flexibility, and a greater sense of confidence that come with feeling more fit. I leave each class feeling relaxed and rejuvenated – and looking forward to the next class.

Erin‘s class is welcoming, informative, motivating and, more importantly, has contributed to my improved physical performance, especially in my road biking. My core is so much stronger!

The Yoga for Back Health class was a nice primer, a good way to ease into yoga and learn about the benefits. I really like the Yogalates class. I have more core strength and better balance. After class, I feel like I got a great workout. Plus, my head is cleared and I’m in a happy mood. It is a perfect way to start the day.

Five stars! Yoga for Back Health is a great entry-level class if you’re looking to strengthen your back or core. Erin is a natural teacher who takes students where they are at. She first asked us to identify problem areas in our bodies, then guided a practice to benefit each of us in some way. I like this class for Erin’s easygoing, upbeat demeanor; I like it for the setting in Westford’s Common Hall; and I even like the timing after work on (what is usually a crappy) Monday—I leave the class feeling refreshed and reset. I didn’t realize how much flexibility I’d lost over the last few years, but I didn’t overdo it. Her class is a good mix of stretching and attending core strength. TBH, this class is more helpful to me than twice as many sessions of PT.

Yoga for Back Health has been a great introduction to yoga and I’m going to continue in one form or another. It has been a well-paced class, I felt like I was able to keep up at the time. I did, however, feel somewhat overwhelmed with all these new exercises and wasn’t always able to remember what to do later on. I appreciated your offer to help me via email but my typing skills are limited but I was able to get some input on the internet. I think I liked the 3rd class the best as it focused on core exercises. I think it’s really too early to see a lot of benefits but I know in time my back will feel better and would certainly recommend this class to others.

I started Yogalates with Erin about 2 1/2 years ago and I love it. It has made my core stronger. I also lift weights twice a week, and I like the combination of adding Yogalates to my workout. After a yoga session I’m more flexible. My legs, and arms are stronger, and firmer. I also like that all the classes are different, I don’t get bored, and time flies by. I get a good workout, and I like that we have “props” to enhance the work out, using blocks, balls and rubber bands. I regret when I have missed a class, because I want to maintain my level of fitness.
After going to numerous yoga classes, Erin’s are the best, and it is a great way to start the day. I have back issues, and have not had a problem in a year, thanks to Erin.

“Dear Erin, I love your Restorative classes for many reasons.
A few are:
- A feeling of bliss that comes on as the class proceeds and the props aid in my body letting go.
- The hands-on assistance you provide.
- I am able to re-position my rear view mirror as I drive back home-as I am sitting up taller.
- Restorative yoga is among the highlights of my week.
Thanks for all you do.” Namaste, Jeff

“Back injuries can occur in many different ways and, yes, it can happen during yoga. This happened to me recently in my home practice and it was quite debilitating. I typically enjoy a vigorous practice with two hot yoga sessions every week and I had to stop and wait to get better. Since I teach at Tubac Healing Arts I knew of Erin Menut’s Yoga for Back Care Class and thought I had better try it. Erin gives great cues, easy to follow and soft slowly opening sequences. This was really good for me because I tend to go too fast and too hard. She also helped me with finding the lower floating ribs and how to hold them in. She gave me some really great knowledge that will help me immensely in future Yoga practice and my back felt better the next day from her class. Now three days later I am on my way back to Hot Yoga and resuming the vigorous aspect. I am excited to see what changes by holding in those floating ribs correctly!!!”
–Jahn Hoover, Yoga Instructor, Tubac, AZ
“Erin leads our yoga practice with encouraging words and sensitive instruction. She always accommodates the lesson to our individual needs at the time, and as a result, each class experience is unique. I especially enjoy her verbal descriptions and sharing of her knowledge about the different poses and their effect on our well being.”
– Virginia Vovchuk, Artist, Tumacoccori, AZ
“I was fortunate to have met Erin at a time when I was missing my former Yoga instructor after moving across the country. Under her soothing guidance and expertise, my understanding and practice of yoga has reached new levels and awareness. Erin brings an approach to Yoga that I haven’t known before. She has a special ability to identify and tailor yoga practice to the needs of each person regardless of age or physical ability and during private or group sessions. I never realized there were many ways to adapt yoga positions to achieve the same results.
Erin brings her peaceful heart, energy, and healing hands to Yoga, Jin Shin Jyutsu, and Equine Facilitated Learning. I know. I have experienced each with Erin.”

“The benefits my husband and I experienced were better sleep, better digestion, calm feeling, relaxation, and stress relief. Thank you!”
